The Bible says "God made everything beautiful in His own time" (Ecc.3:11) and that means HE IS BEAUTIFUL and we can live everyday experiencing His Beauty.
David speaks of the Beauty of the Lord in the Psalms (27:4; 48:2; 90:17) and it exists in the mountains, his nature, in heaven and in His Temple. But greater still in His Son coming to earth as Jesus explains to us what "beauty' means in act of serving Him. (Mark 14:6) Isaiah ...read more

God is the Source of All Comfort, but as followers we must find ways daily to experience His awesome comfort and say say Thank you Lord for your comfort.
The greatness of God is realized in Psalms 8 as David writes about his greatness in his creation, but wonders about the insigfiance of man, that he should be concerned about him. But Isaiah says God is a God of Comfort. Paul say "God is a God of all comfort. His name is "Comfort." ...read more

As we learn from His Word who God is we can apply them to our understanding of His greatness...He is a Spirit, He is Eternal, He is Unchangeable, in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.

5. "god Is Our Father"

Having God as our Heavenly Father lets us become closer in our relationship with Him. He can act as One who loves us, provides for us and discipline us. We must understand His Fatherhood through His Son, who helps us to know Him in an intimate way.
Isaiah 64:8-9 gives us the words of Father. "Yet you, O Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the Potter; we are all the work of your hands. Do not be angry beyond measure, O Lord; Do not remember our sins forever, we are your people." Every wedding has these words ...read more

Looking at our God at this time of season (Thanksgiving Day) we are in awe of God being great and being good. Reading the scriptures gives meaning for God's greatness and His Goodness."
Probably one of the first prayers we learned after “Now I lay me down to sleep” was “God is great! God is good! 7. Our God Is Hallelujah

Do you remember the VBS kids song, that was a two-part action song? One half would stand up and sing "Hallelu!, Hallelu! and then sit down, and then the other half would stand and sing, "Praise Ye the Lord!" Well its all about giving God the praise.
Our first experience of hearing the word comes of days in VBS and Church camp singing the action song, :Hallelu! Praise ye the Lord. God is our Judge and our Joy! Our daily living must reflect what God wants from us -- following the Word of God, submitting to God, resisting the devil, humbling yourselves before the Lord, purifying your heart, and be peace-loving, considerate, full of mercy, and sincere (James 3:17)

10. God Our Keeper!

God is Kind, All-Knowing, God is King, but the Bible tells us HE IS OUR KEEPER! He gives us safety and protection. He Keeps us from "falling". But HE also wants to keep ourselves pure, to keep the Sabbath, to KEEP ourselves strong and faithful.

How do you describe God's greatest attribute? LOVE!!! As the Bible has made many attempts on defining LOVE it is beyond comprehension. But it is Indescribable. incomprehensible, intimate, eternal, perfect, pure, unconditional, intimate, forgiving, and sacrificial.
How do we measure "Love"? By our feelings only? By actions of people in our lives? By what we do or say to another person? Love is NOT determined by it's receiving or in our giving. The Greek language gives us 3 words for love to help us to see the big picture of love. Eros is ...read more

God's most essential attribute is His Mercy -- full of Mercy! He expects His children to be merciful as well. "Blessed are the merciful . . . "

Our God is personal and loving, but we should see HIM in His Highest Majesty. He is in royalty and greatness, in all of His beauty and glory.

The word "quick" in the Bible is used to describe God as appointing his Son as judging the "quick and dead" (Act's 10:42) but also in the last chapter of the Bible (Revelation 22) He asked to "Come Quickly."
