Prayer - Cancer Patients Or Relay For Life Sunday

PRAYER - Relay for Life Prayer – Road Atlanta- Hall County, Georgia Relay – June 1, 2012
Father God,
You are our rock, our fortress, our strength… especially in the most difficult struggles of life. For all those gathered here today, bless them with your comforting peace and your reassuring presence and most of all…hope that stems from your grace.
We fondly remember those today who have fought the good fight against cancer and gone to their eternal reward. What a blessing they have been in our lives. We thank you for their example and the gift of their life to us.
We ask you to strengthen and guide those survivors present today. Give them courage and wisdom to face every day as a precious gift from you. Bless them with health and wisdom and peace. We are thankful for their inspiration for all of us.
For all team members and supporters gathered here, help us to encourage and help and be the compassionate friend you’ve called us to be.
And bless those in the medical profession with knowledge and skill that they may find a cure to this dreaded enemy. As we fight against cancer, our hope is in you, Father God. Be our good shepherd, our rock in a weary land, our healer, sustainer, comforter and provider for our every need.
Thank you for hearing our every prayer. In the name of our Lord who gives us a living hope for each day ….AMEN
