Police Officer Saves Choking Child
Listen to the story of Les Brown, a San Diego police officer, who was driving down a new section of the interstate - Highway 5 - one day! He heard an emergency alert over his police car radio - a code blue - indicating that someone was dying! The address was relatively close by, so he radioed that he would take the call! Flipping on his flashing lights, he sped off. Then, he noticed that the off-ramp he wanted to use was unavailable because it was under construction! He saw a worker on an earth-moving machine and drove up close, jumped out of his car, and yelled to the worker that he had an emergency and needed to use the off-ramp! The worker said, "Follow me, officer!" That earth-moving machine scooped up a huge load of dirt and instantly created a way to exit!
Les Brown drove quickly three (3) more blocks to the designated address! There was a woman on a front porch with a child in her arms who had turned sky blue! He grabbed the child, placed the infant across his knees as he had been trained to do; and, popped the infant sharply across the back! A button flew out of the child’s mouth; and, life flowed back into the child. The distraught mother just held the child and wept, unable to find words big enough to say thank you. Les Brown got back into his police car feeling really good!
The next morning, while Les Brown was cruising down that same stretch of Highway 5, he saw that same earth-moving machine up ahead on the left. He decided to stop and thank the operator for being so helpful the day before! However, as soon as the operator saw the police car, he jumped off the earth-moving machine and started running in his direction! Whe he got close, he blurted out, "Officer! That baby you saved yesterday was my son!"

The first 3 chapters of Revelation have often been seen as separate from the rest of the book. But that doesn't make any sense. Why would Jesus spend 3 chapters on local churches who were not part of the rest of the story?
