[308]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM - THIS SINFUL WORLD FACES REALITY
The opening line sets the theme of this poem – “The differential is greater now than ever it was,”
and becomes a contrast of what is righteous and what is wicked. The gap is widening and wickedness is growing. The 6 stanzas - each have its own theme.
STANZA 1. Values have declined and continue to decline.
STANZA 2. There is only one who can sort all this out; who can judge correctly.
STANZA 3. Daily the world gets more sinful but the individual is fully responsible for his/her own sin.
STANZA 4. All aspects of a human being are corrupt – head, feet, hands, etc. This is in accord with what the bible teaches.
STANZA 5. Judgement is coming and each life will be opened and revealed and the great white throne is in view.
STANZA 6. The stanza focuses on the special position and blessing a true Christian has.
The poem’s title means that reality is coming. Things continue UNTIL God takes the step in bringing all human history to a close. It will begin with the Rapture then events play out until there is a new heaven and new earth – {{Revelation 21:1-2 “I saw A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea, and I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.”}}
Reality will come on this world like it did when the USA and Israel started to cleanse Tehran in March 2026. The suddenness of that event for the Iranian residents is similar to this verse – {{1 Thessalonians 5:3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then DESTRUCTION will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child and they shall not escape”}}
Each stanza here has the same word to begin the line.
========================================================
THIS SINFUL WORLD FACES REALITY
The differential is greater now than ever it was.
The scales are brought out and the matters are gathered and weighed.
The verdict is given which shouts a great decline, because
The values of man and his morality have decayed.
=================
Who can judge these matters of man’s declining, sinful state?
Who examines the heart when each man’s motive is laid bare?
Who passes sentence on those who wait at great white throne’s gate?
Who is the Judge of all the earth, whose judgements all are fair?
=================
Man lives in a sinful world that’s waning more day by day.
Man cannot blame the world for sin as some external cause.
Man’s sins are his responsibility in every way.
Man therefore has opposed God and has broken all His laws.
=================
The bible is correct – no fear of God before their eyes.
The heart of man is corrupt and deceitful in intent.
The feet of man will hasten to squash the innocent cries.
The soul of man severely to his corruption is bent.
=================
All will reap what will be sown when in judgement it’s revealed.
All the books relating to mankind’s deeds will be displayed.
All can’t hide from the light; from each sinful act that’s concealed.
All will stand accused when death and Hades will be portrayed.
=================
None of those negative things is going to be applied.
None of God’s children will suffer loss, but share Christ always.
None who repents and turns to God will ever be denied.
None who is contrite will forfeit God’s eternal days.
