[124]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – HE’S LEADING AS MY HEAD
How many are lost in this world? I don’t mean unsaved, but I mean who don’t know where they are going or what lies ahead, or what life is about; those who feel life is meaningless and has no purpose? I know it is a lot of people.
The reason for that is that without the Lord Jesus Christ in a person’s life, then all can be confusing and purposeless. Jesus said this – {{John 12:46 “I HAVE COME AS LIGHT INTO THE WORLD that everyone who believes in Me may NOT REMAIN IN DARKNESS.”}}. To walk and live in darkness is not to know where you are going. People want leadership to lead them in the darkness. Jesus will do that.
The Lord said this of Himself – {{John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I CAME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE, AND MIGHT HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY.”}}. This is the purpose He came into the world. It was to bring life and life is awareness and sentience. We all have that in the physical sense but the Lord was speaking of the spiritual sense. He comes to bring spiritual life and that means direction and meaning.
{{1 Timothy 1:15 “It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance, that CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, among whom I am foremost of all,”}}. Jesus came to save you out of darkness.
When you belong to Jesus, He is your Saviour, Lord, and Guide through life. Hence the title – “He is leading as my Head.” Please come to Him in repentance if you do not have direction in your life.

HE’S LEADING AS MY HEAD
The path before us may grow dark,
And obstacles may block the way.
Some heavy burdens press their mark,
When darkness overwhelms the day.
============================
“For where you are there I will be,”
The Saviour with assurance said.
“In every trial your way I’ll see,
For I am leading as your Head.”
============================
“Commit to Me each heartache felt;
Each reason for your tearful pain;
Each hurt and sorrow life has dealt;
The times life’s reason seems to wane.”
============================
The Comforter the Lord has sent,
Assisting fully in our needs.
On our behalf His time is spent,
And into peacefulness He leads.
============================
The Lord will firmly hold your hand,
And carry you right through the flames;
Through burdened ways He helps you stand;
With centred love your life He claims.
