[096]. A Message From A Poem – From Earth To Heaven

[096]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – FROM EARTH TO HEAVEN
This poem is one of rhyming couplets and the theme is “now on earth, but looking towards being in heaven with the Lord.”
Do you love the world? Well my answer is yes and no. I absolutely love the world, that is, the creation in the world. We have a beautiful planet full of the wonders of God, full of beauty that speaks of the glories of the Lord.
{{Psalm 19:1-3 “The heavens are telling of the glory of God and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words. Their voice is not heard.”}}
{{Psalm 8:3 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have ordained,”}}
This beautiful picture of the world has another face, and that is the world system, the world of man. We could speak for ages of what mankind has become in corruption destroying the image of God with false beliefs called science. Man has polluted himself so that what Paul outlines as being in the world is all around us – {{Romans 3:11-18 “There is NONE who understands. There is NONE who seeks for God. All have turned aside. Together they have become useless. There is NONE who does good. There is not even one. Their throat is an open grave. With their tongues they keep deceiving. The poison of asps is under their lips. Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their paths, and the path of peace have they not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.”}}
However as a Christian my hope is not in the world of men because the world is sinful and is passing away. My hope is in the eternal presence of the Lord. I belong to Him and my hope is centred in Him. The Lord comes for me in the Rapture or I leave this earth to go to him. Whether in the body here or out of the body, we are the Lord’s.
{{Hebrews 6:19 “THIS HOPE WE HAVE AS AN ANCHOR OF THE SOUL, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil.”}}
{{1 John 3:2-3 “Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that when He appears, we shall be like Him because we shall see Him just as He is. EVERYONE WHO HAS THIS HOPE FIXED ON HIM PURIFIES HIMSELF, just as He is pure.”}}

FROM EARTH TO HEAVEN
Man has ruined what God placed;
Each one here, sin has embraced.
========================
Remove from us, earth’s dark stain.
Then true hope, glories obtain.
========================
This world of sin it gets worse.
Labours hard under the curse.
========================
No more heartache; no disdain.
Throughout earth, all is in vain.
========================
Sadness is ours; sin is why –
Come dear Lord; please hear our cry.
========================
The days pass on; soon we’ll leave.
With Jesus, then we will cleave.
========================
Earth knows hardship; ways of Cain.
Taken out, with Christ we reign.
========================
No one around to cause grief;
Gone from earth, a grand relief.
========================
Thank You, Jesus. That’s our peace.
From sin’s jail, bought our release.
========================
I am coming, my blessed Lord
His presence, there all unflawed.
========================
No more sorrow; no more pain.
With Jesus, we'll know our gain.
========================
Farewell sad world; gone your ache.
With Jesus, in light we wake.
========================
Absent from here – fully blessed;
With our Christ– always at rest.
========================
Eyes shall be wiped; no more tears.
No worry – gone all those fears.
========================
Upon us all, love will rain.
Forever, He will sustain.
========================
