[079]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – FAITHFUL, LORD, YOU ARE TO ME AND US
[THIS IS WHAT I WROTE IN 2022]. Recently I had to go to Townsville for a major ear operation to address a problem I have had for over a year and which would not be treated at the local Queensland State hospital because they were not interested with a 2 year waiting list. It involved complex procedures in the middle ear, perforated eardrum and surrounding bone that was also infected. The whole area was infected and had been for a year. It has been a terrible year. I had to drive about 280 miles each way just to get treatment in this operation. The problems began with a fungal ear.
This poem was written on the day I was released from hospital after the operation. We were in Townsville opposite the Mater Private Hospital. This is my tribute to the Lord’s faithfulness in all our ways. It was complex for the surgeon but we prayed for him and God enabled the surgeon’s skill. He had to remove and wash out the infection through the middle ear over and over and then treat and remove the scar tissue in the middle ear, graft a sliver taken from the inside ear onto the back of the eardrum and sew it all up.
Now I wait for a couple of weeks to see what the result will be. There is an 80% chance the graft will take; if not it has to be redone. I had lost the hearing in the ear and hope to regain it (or some). It is all in God’s hands. God is good. I want the new body we will have one day.
THREE YEARS LATER: The graft did take and it was a perfect operation. The surgeon was marvellous. I have about 70% hearing in that ear.
Wonderful promises are ours. {{Romans 8:27-28 “and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose,”}}
{{Psalm 25:20 “Guard my soul and deliver me. Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.”}}

FAITHFUL, LORD, YOU ARE TO ME AND US
Our victory is in Christ the Lord,
For in Him we have certainty.
Whatever the cause, faith is the cord.
Give God the opportunity.
=============================
Our walk on earth may not be easy;
Hardships are of many dark forms.
When facing a foe, don’t be queasy,
For Jesus guides through all your storms.
=============================
In the battle, we don’t always win,
But our God knows that from the start.
His love, strength and hope will underpin,
The every need of your heart.
=============================
Our dear Lord is faithful all the way.
The Shepherd’s care is efficient.
No matter what this world will display,
For us, His grace is sufficient.
=============================
In my problem, the Lord helped me when
Hardened walls were erected.
Just step by step, but I knew by then,
That I’ll never be rejected.

The world tries to stifle the name of Jesus. Why? Because that name opens the door to the supernatural. The Name of Jesus is the only name recognized on Earth, in Hell, and in Heaven. It has the power to save souls, heal bodies, and conquer demons!

Jesus did many miracles but only 2 are told about in all four Gospels. One is the miracle of Jesus' resurrection... and the other is the miracle of the feeding of the 5000. The question is "Why are these 2 the only miracles listed that in all 4?"
