Texas Longhorn Sermons
Contributed by Dr. Larry Petton on Oct 16, 2023 (message contributor)
Being from Dallas, Texas, I am pretty used to seeing the Texas Longhorns football games and also driving in the huge Texas countryside and seeing the big Texas Longhorn bulls in large, open pastures.
But did you know that some pastors actually preach Texas Longhorn sermons?
What is that?? A Texas Longhorn sermon is a sermon that has a point on each end and a lot of bull in between!!
Don't preach Texas Longhorn sermons. Preach the pure, unadulterated truth of the Word of God to your congregation. Be a God pleaser, not a man pleaser in your preaching my dear pastor brothers.
