Isang Lahi
Mateo 2:16-18
Isang karera ang inorganisa sa pagitan nina Goliath at David.
Ngayon, nang magsimula ang karera, parehong nagsimulang tumakbo sina Goliath at David sa pantay na bilis ngunit pagkatapos ng ilang segundo, naunahan ni David si Goliath.
Nang makitang nauuna si David, pinabilis ni Goliatha ang kanyang takbo ngunit hindi niya napantayan ang takbo ni David.
Biglang sumagi sa isip ni Goliatha ang kasamaang ito,
"Kung pagtripan ko siya, babagsak siya at ako ang mananalo sa karera!"
At ganoon din ang ginawa niya! Natumba si David at nanguna si Goliatha.
Ngunit pagkaraan ng ilang segundo, si David ay tumugma sa kanya, pagkatapos ay nanguna at sa wakas ay nanalo sa karera!
Nang matapos ang karera, pumunta si Goliatha sa matanda at nangyari ang pag-uusap na ito sa pagitan nila,
Goliatha: Sir, bakit ako natalo kay David sa karera ngayon?
The Elder: Sasagutin ko ito ng komprehensibo ngayon.
Kita n'yo, pareho kayong makapangyarihan at samakatuwid ang resulta ng karera ay dapat na pareho kayong tumatawid sa linya ng pagtatapos. At nangyari iyon sa mga unang segundo ng karera nang pareho kayong magkarera sa parehong bilis.
Goliatha: Oo, tapos bigla kong nakita si David na nauuna sa akin. Bakit nangyari yun?
The Elder: Eksakto, nakita mo si David na nangunguna sa sarili ay nangangahulugan na sa simula ay nakatuon ka sa linya ng pagtatapos ngunit pagkatapos ng ilang segundo sa karera, nakuha mo ang takot na maaaring maunahan ka ni David at kaya nagsimula kang tumuon sa kanya sa halip na ang finishing line kaya naunahan siya!
Goliatha: Pero pinagtripan ko siya at natumba siya! Gayunpaman, paano niya nagawang manalo?
The Elder: Oo, pinalala mo pa ang sarili mo kapag pinagtripan mo siya! Mula nang matumba siya, lalo siyang naging determinado at nag-focus na manalo sa karera kaysa dati dahil nahuhuli siya. Kaya, pinakawalan niya ang kanyang buong kapangyarihan at potensyal na manalo sa karera!
Ito ang mahalagang set ng isip na kailangan upang maging matagumpay.
Tumutok lamang sa kung ano ang gusto mong gawin at iwanan ang lahat ng kaguluhan sa likod.
Awtomatiko kang mananalo isang araw.
Sa halip na paikliin ang linya ng isang tao, pahabain ang iyong linya upang manalo sa buhay.

To say we should let our conscience be our guide seems so reasonable. It almost makes sense. But God never said we should do that. Instead He said we should seek to have a clear conscience. How can we accomplish this?
