The Iron
Contributed by Darrell Campbell on Sep 4, 2018 (message contributor)
A man comes home while his wife is in the middle of ironing . He says to his wife, "Honey, I need to take a quick shower, but I am expecting an urgent call. Would you get it for me if they call?" The man proceeds to jump in the shower, and the phone rings and rings and rings. He jumps out the shower soaking wet and grabs the iron instead of the phone and burns his ear. Well, at the hospital they ask, "What happened?" As the man tells the story they ask, "Well, how did your other ear also get burned?" The man replies, "Do you know that idiot called back twice?"
