• One of my favorite illustrations: Comparing the Trinity to fire. Fire has three elements, oxygen, fuel and heat. If you remove any one of these elements you no longer can have fire. god is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You can not have God without accepting all Three!
• Family: Married with three grown children and one grand-child.
• What my parents think of my sermons: They were saved by them. Both gone home to Glory.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the Word and not about it!

• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Your doctrines are not substitute for knowing "the man Christ Jesus."
• Something funny that happened while preaching: After a church fire we were conducting services in a hotel meeting room. I was trying to illustrate that we should welcome sinners into the church. I stated that if a bikini clad woman with a bottle of whiskey were to come into the church then you should offer here a seat. Just then a guest of the hotel waring a bikini and carrying a cocktail walked into the room and asked "where is the pool." I could not have planned it better!
