About Jessie
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I pray that these words inspire you spiritual, physical, and emotional blessings in true worship.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Help for Women in the Ministry
  • One of my favorite illustrations: There was a father that was showing his family the quick way to this Mother's house. On their way to her house, it began to get foggy in the woods as the family was holding hands. AS they got deeper into the woods, the father let go of the mother's hand. One of the sons says to the mother, "I can't see my father ." The mother pulled the boy's hand closer and said, " Don't worry, your father has traveled this way many times before."
  • Family: A divorced mother of six
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My mother will enjoy reading them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: N/A
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: " If God brings you to it He will see you through it"
  • Books that have had an impact: The Bible Self-help
  • Hobbies: writing, singing, and sewing
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: My Beloved, "Get your house in order."
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: One Sunday, I had on my robe, and I went to get up, and my skirt fell to the floor. I kicj=ked it up under the podium. NO. No one saw it. I was a musician also.
  • What I want on my tombstone: "Lived Her Life With Faith"
