• Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach what you know. Dont talk about being on drugs or being in jail if you have been been high or locked up be who your are never who you are not. Preaching should be relevent to the people at all times. The person who has just purched a new home, had there first child or recieved a promotion on there job, they should get the same thing out of your sermon as the lady who has on a beautiful dress and hat but just got slapped in her face by her husband before she left for church. Both attend your church at the same time so you need to speak to both of them through at the same time with the word on Sunday.
