The Worshiping Power Of Pain

Romans 5:1-5

Have you ever had something thappen to you that cut you so deep that you did not know what to do.It waqs a pain so intense that you were confused on what was and is the next step in your life.

As christian we are taught to worship God in all things. The question is how do you worship God when it hurts so bad.

The word pain is difined as

Suffing of the body as an ache distress or sorrow

The word worship is defined as

the act of paying homage, adoration or devotion to God

So worshiping through pain is the act of paying homage or devotion to God during suffering, distress and or sorrow.

Pain can offer us protection. If you are in pain the body will shut down and let you know that something is very wrong with the situation. The deepest pains are not always physical but some are spiritual as well.

1) Profit through Pain

Birth requires pain (John 16:21)

Pain is humbling (2 Cor. 12:7)

You are required to grow (1 Peter 5:10)

2) Prevailing through the pain

Fighting the good fight (2 Timothy 4:6-8)

Jesus on the cross was worship through pain
