About Daniel
  • Education: B/A in Christian Ministries. 7 Combined years at Ohio Christian University
  • Experience: Full time pastor for 8 yrs.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Enjoy, use, send comments!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Living in the Fullness of God!
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The transforming power of the blood of Christ: Matthew 27:54 Mark 15:29 Luke 23:47 As the Centurian who was set guard at the foot of the cross of Christ was (perhaps) splattered with Jesus blood, these 3 gospels proclaim him to say, "Of a certain this was a righteous man, truly this was the son of God!" I would illustrate using a spear & a small condiment bottle of grape juice which I could squeeze at the right moment covering my white shirt. the shirt would come clean in bleach-water.
  • Family: I am married to my wife Teresa who was raised in the Church of God. we are a blended family of six children & 9 Grandchildren. All worship together with us regularly. We also have many who call us mom & dad as we meet those requirements.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They love them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Keep it simple
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: By my wife: Tell them what you're preaching! Preach it! Tell them what you preached!
  • Books that have had an impact: Destined to Reign - Joseph Prince
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus is Grace!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: My 30 yr.old son who is an avid electronics junky, was my target as I told the true story of St. Nicholas, based on gathered facts. as I told of the gold bag/dowry that Nicholas tossed through an open window of a poor man's home, I tossed a bag of gold-covered chocolate coins. My aim was for my son's lap which became blocked by his head tilted downward. I hit him head-on! Causing a bump to appear! immediately I ran to him & hugged him as he said, "I was checking your facts on line."
  • What I want on my tombstone: I told you so!
