THE FULLNESS OF LIFE

(OR THE WALKING DEAD)?

Point 1A

Romans 8:11 (KJV)

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Today I offer you a choice. Do you believe this scripture?

What are you thinking? Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

What do you believe? What do you believe in? What do you find yourself saying?

“I believe this, but…”

“I believe part of this, but…”

“I believe this was okay for back in those bible Days, but…”

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.

Mark 11:24

Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Point 1B

We have to be careful about how we use the word “but” –

We often say, “I’m sorry, but…”

“But” nullifies everything that was said prior.

Point 2

1st we must believe God’s word!

Our text for today will change your life only if you believe.

Once we believe, we can receive, then we can effectively apply His word.

Everybody believes something- Pharaoh believed that he was a god

 Everybody receives something from what they believe even if its contrary to the truth – Pharaoh’s magicians cast their rods on the ground & they too became serpents

We can even apply what we receive by believing…even when it’s not the word of God. Pharaoh’s magicians also turned the Nile into a river of blood with their enchantments!

But, the truth is, only the Spirit of God can bring life to what is dead! No one in Egypt, or modern times for that matter could ever raise the firstborn children up from the dead…Except God!

Right now, because of Christ’s finished work on the cross – Any deadness you may have can be raised to the fullness of life:

Point 3

Well you may ask, “What is dead in my life?”

You may be experiencing dead dreams.

Dead visions –“This is the way it’s always been!”

Dead relationships

What about that dead-end job?

Dead plans

Dead diets

Dead finances

The list could go on forever; maybe I mentioned something you can identify with or maybe I haven’t.

What’s dead in your life; can you quicken it? Can you raise it up on your own? NO!

So – 1st believe His word, we receive it by our trust, & that is faith in God!

Testimony

GABBY’S STORY

Gabby’s single mother, Tammy trusts that God will answer the prayers of those who believe that God will quicken her daughter, & that God will provide her every need.

Romans 8:16 - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:-

God sees those who trust Him & God works through their faith to fulfill Tammy’s requests.

Quote Luke 6:38

Dead situations are brought to life through Christ’s finished work on the cross.

King David believed God at His word & spoke these words that have held true for more than 3000 years: Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

God Himself says in Isaiah55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Closing

FULLNESS OF LIFE OR WALKING DEAD – YOUR CHOICE FOLKS!

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

The decision here is either one-or-the-other; we’re not talking about a choice like two-out- of – three!

The answer here is not “Everything in moderation” as some may think; yet the correct response we need is BALANCE!

How do we find balance? Do we just keep our nose in the Bible 24/7/365?

King David had the right practice as he often said that he’s going to hide God’s word in his heart!

QUOTE PS.119:9

What are you thinking about? How do you spend your time? What are you thinking right now?

Is your mind somewhere else? Are you thinking of God’s Fullness or is it still walking dead?

Our thoughts produce our actions > our actions produce results of what we’ve been thinking, & our words reveal our thoughts & our actions.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
