When The Trumpets Blast! Series

Introduction:

God has handed Jesus the scroll. Jesus has opened the seven seals. Suddenly, seven angels appear before the throne and are given trumpets.

TRUMPETS ALWAYS SYMBOLIZE THE INTERVENTION OF GOD INTO HUMAN HISTORY.

I. The Blasting of the Seven Trumpets

1.Hail and fire destroy 1/3 of the trees and grass.

2.A mountain is cast into the sea, turning 1/3 of the sea to blood, killing 1/3 of sea life, and destroying 1/3 of the ships.

3.Wormwood falls and poisons 1/3 of the fresh water sources.

4.1/3 of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened, leaving 1/3 of the day and night dark.

5.The Abyss is opened, freeing the “locusts”, who torment men for 5 months.

6.Demonic angels are loosed from the Euphrates, killing 1/3 of the world’s population.

7.The 7th trumpet leads into the 7 vials.

This is what every person not ready to meet Christ in the Rapture will face!

But, they don’t have to face these trumpets if they’re ready for an earlier trumpet.

II. Matthew 24:30, 31, I Thessalonians 4:16-18, and I Corinthians 15:51-53

1.Those who surrender their will to Him now will avoid the 7 Revelation trumpets by being raptured at the sound of this trumpet.

2. How can they be ready?

III. Ezekiel 33:1-8 and Joel 2:1

1. God calls every child of His to be like the OT prophet and be a faithful watchman, sounding the trumpet of alarm to the lost and dying.

Conclusion

Today, you must ask yourself if you will sound the TRUMPET OF WARNING, so that others may know of Jesus’ love, mercy, and salvation; so they will be ready when the angel sounds the TRUMPET BLAST OF RAPTURE AND HOMEGOING; so they’ll not have to face the seven TRUMPET BLASTS OF TRIBULATION AND GOD’S WRATH.
