About Randall
  • Education: A/G ordained in 1995 and currently taking classes to hopefully arrive at a M. Div. before I reach 50.
  • Experience: 29 years of doing a little bit of everything, from church custodian to SS teacher to musician to A/V tech to youth pastor to associate pastor to now 15 years as a senior pastor.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Use anything you find useful - "eat the chicken and spit out the bones". It was only original once, and that was with Him, not me!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: A sermon preached at our NM District Council a few years ago entitled, "Looking for Donkeys and Waiting on Samuel".
  • One of my favorite illustrations: If we would not dare tell Michael Jordan how to play basketball, why do we DARE to tell God how to be God in our lives?
  • Family: Wife, Cindy, and 2 great boys, Michael and Christopher.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Say they’ll listen to me anytime, so long as I don’t start to sing!! ;)
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She says she loves them - with or without bias. (Doesn’t God bless us with wonderful wives?!)
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid OR Keep It Short, Stupid! :)
  • Books that have had an impact: Too many to name.
  • Hobbies: Photography, old time radio shows, old movies, sports, reading, and anything I get to do with my wife.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus is THE answer...no matter what the question.
  • What I want on my tombstone: His Children Serve God, Even Though He Was a Pastor
