Summary: This sermon is an introduction to the book of Acts and an encouragement that through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit we can be Great Commission Christians.
Wait on the Lord – Acts 1:1-8,
The Holy Spirit gave them the power to:
I. Share it personally (“it” being the gospel)
(Acts 2:14 Peter’s sermon and then all that follow)
II. Spread it widely
a. Jerusalem (Acts 2:14)
b. Judea and Samaria (Acts 8)
c. The uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 9 and following)
III. Stick to it faithfully - (the whole book)
