Utterly Destroy Evil Spirits

WATCH THIS :- They were to utterly destroy 7 physical nations. UTTERLY :- means to completely, absolutely, entirely, to the fullest extent, all. The reason they had to do this is Deuteronomy 7:6 " For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God". If they did not utterly destroy these nations of people in time they would cause the Children of Israel to turn from worshipping God and start worshipping idols and profane that which is holy unto the Lord.

WATCH THIS :- The command to utterly destroy the seven nations under the Old Covenant finds a very different form in the New Covenant. The command to utterly kill people is fulfilled not by killing people but by making disciples and living victoriously. Utterly destroy physically make disciple will utterly destroy that sin nature. However, just like the Children of Israel had to utterly destroy these 7 nations there are 7 spirits that we, the church, and every individual must utterly destroy in order to inherit victoriously the promise land.

The 7 nations were the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. These are also the 7 spirits that we must utterly destroy, the Hittite Spirit, the Girgashites Spirit, the Canaanite Spirit, the Amorite Spirit, the Jebusite Spirit, the Perizzite and Hivite Spirit.

Today we are going to learn about taking advantage of opportunities to utterly destroy evil spirits, give the devil a black eye, and live in glorious victory. I am going to discuss these 7 spirits not in the exact order they are in the Bible but I want you to see and understand how these spirits operate and how we must take advantage of the opportunity to UTTERLY DESTROY THEM AND RECEIVE VICTORY?

1). The Girgashite Spirit :- Girgashite has Two meanings 1). "One who turns back froma pilgrimage" which is the spirit of backsliding & 2). "Clay Dwellers" which refers to dwelling in earthliness. It focuses on the earthly temporal things. This spirit seeks to turn us back from obeying and following God and to become earthly and sensually evil again. This Girgashite spirit pursues and persuades us to turn from our eternal inheritance, back to the darkness and bondage of sin that we have been delivered from. The Girgashite Spirit is all about me me me and more me.

WATCH THIS :- clay dwellers. Clay is defined as a fine grained soil, soil is the top layer of the earth's surface a particular type of earth or ground. Genesis 2:7 says " And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul". The New English Translation says "The Lord God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life into him. And the man became a living person". The Girgashite Spirit is a clay dwelling spirit, selfish spirit.

WATCH THIS :- Jesus heals a woman on the Sabbath that was bent over for 18 years. The Bible said she had a spirit of infirmity, which is a Girgashite spirit. WATCH :- she had been bent over for 18 long years. Because she was bent over her focus, her vision was in the ground, prophetically speaking her vision was in flesh because man was created from the dust of the ground. 18 years, 18 is a multiple of 6. 6+6+6 is 18. 666 is the number of the beast, represents the antichrist spirit, the flesh nature. Revelation 13:18 says " Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six". 6 is the number of man, man was created on the sixth day, 6 is 1 less than 7. 7 is God's perfect number 6 is man without God (1). This woman (remember woman in prophecy represents the church, the ecclesia, the called out ones) this woman the church was operating in a Girgashite spirit her focus was in herself for the Bible says "she could in wise lift herself up" . She had to change her focus. Her infirmity was not a sickness but a spirit that caused her to be bent over depending upon herself. The Girgashite spirit is often called a pig spirit because a pig is unable to lift its head and look up toward the sky, it's focus is always on the ground. It doesn't matter how much you clean a pig it will always return to the mud for it is a mud dweller. But let me show you something even about a pig, when given the opportunity to utterly destroy the Girgashite spirit, it takes advantage of the opportunity. Matthew 8:28 says " And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way". Gergesenes is a later name for Girgashite, they were descendants of the Girgashites. The Girgashite spirit had a hold on the people. The possessed man terrorized them, they could not bind him with chains, he would cause all kind of terror and confusion in the lives of the people, but one day Jesus came, the possessed came running to Jesus and the demons in him cried out and asked Jesus not to torment them before their time. Jesus said what is your name, they said legion for we are many, Jesus told the demons they had to leave the man, they said lets us go into the swine. Jesus said go so the legion of demons anywhere from 2000 to 6000 demons went and possessed the swine (PIGS). The pigs realized wait a minute something inside of me just isn't right, I got to take this opportunity to utterly destroy it so they ran violently down the hillside and drowned themselves in the sea. Even the pigs knew they had to utterly destroy that spirit inside of them. When the people heard what had happened they didn't praise God for the man being delivered, they were not thankful for they would not be terrorized by him again, instead of taking the opportunity to praise the Lord they began to complain look what you have done, you messed with my money, you upset my lifestyle, you destroyed my lively hood what am I going to do now. All they could focus on was themselves it’s all about me. You have to leave here because you are messing with me. We need to be like the pigs and utterly destroy the Girgashite spirit. Bishop, do I have to kill myself to get rid of the Girgashite spirit, NO, that's another spirit I am going to deal with. But how do I utterly destroy the Girgashite spirit? You must crucify flesh. WATCH THIS :- So what things didn't go the way you thought they should go or according to your plans but everything turned out alright, don't get upset but take the opportunity to give the devil a black eye. Don't throw in the towel, don' t say I am not going to do anything else, don't sit down,. You might have to suffer the wrong so right may prevail, do it and utterly destroy that Girgashite spirit because it’s not about you but it’s about Jesus. How come you didn’t' t call on me utterly destroy that spirit and live in glorious victory.
