Use The Faith That You Have!

USE THE FAITH THAT YOU HAVE!

Faith is mentioned over 336 times in the KJV, 458 in the NIV. FAITH DOES NOT MAKE LIFE EASY. FAITH MAKES LIFE POSSIBLE.

WITHOUT FAITH ONE CAN NEVER PLEASE GOD…

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

THERE IS A CRY FOR THE LORD TO INCREASE OUR FAITH, WHEN THE FATHER SAYS USE THE FAITH THAT IS IN YOU!

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

LITTLE FAITH CAN DO GREAT THINGS!

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

WE LIVE IN ONE OF 4 LEVELS OF FAITH.

1 NO FAITH 2 FAITH 3 MORE FAITH 4 MUCH FAITH

EACH INDIVIDUAL RECEIVES THE GIFT OF FAITH ACCORDING TO THE RESOURCES HE NEEDS TO DO THE WORK OF GOD THEY HAVE BEEN CALLED TO DO.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

ARE WE USING THE FAITH THAT WE HAVE? HOW DO WE INCREASE OUR FAITH?

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

FAILURE TO THRIVE.

1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

THERE ARE SEVERAL LOGICAL STAGES OF GROWTH.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

1. INFANT: cries and needs warm milk and diaper changes.

2. BABY: self-focused, demands own way, temper fits, feelings hurt real easy, drinks milk and soft food, talks but hard to understand.

3. TODDLER: mine, my toy, can be cruel, lies often, uses temper to get their way, hates to be corrected,

4. CHILD: makes a scene, tattletale, emotional outburst, easily angered, pouts, demands attention, selfish.

5. TEENAGER: learning, gets stronger, good student, develops muscles, sports, team work.

6. ADULT: finishes education, works at a job, self-discipline.

7. FATHER: begets life, supports, teaches, develops….

CONCLUSION: Faith is mentioned over 336 times in the KJV, 458 in the NIV. Salvation requires faith. Someone’s faith played a role in every miracle in the Bible. We must have faith to please God! Faith, we must use the faith that we have

to release the PLAN OF GOD’S PURPOSE WE MUST EXERCISE FAITH.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
