WATER IS A TYPE IN THE BIBLE: LIFE--- ESSENTIALS...

A. BARREN: NO PROFIT, poor,

unable to bear young, unable to produce or bear fruit or vegetation,

B. GOD'S DESIGN IS TO BE THE HEAD NOT THE TAIL...

BLESSINGS

Deut. 28:13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and

thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I

command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Deut. 28:44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt

be the tail.

C. IN THE WATER, THE ESSENTIALS, THE ENEMY HAS CAUSED GOD'S PPEOPLE TO BE BARREN.

D. IF WE STAY BARREN --- WE WILL BECOME EXTINCT...

GOD HAS A PLAN... FIND THE ANTIDOTE... GOD HEALS WITH HIS REMEDY...

2 Kings 2:20 And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they bring it to him.

Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

VI. THERE IS A GOD PLAN FOR AN ANTIDOTE OR DIVINE REMEDY FOR BUSINESS PROBLEMS...

THIS PLACE IS TOO SMALL? WE HAVE PUT FORTH OUR BEST EFFORT AND LOOKS

LIKE WE ARE GOING TO FAIL...

A. THE SCHOOL OF MINISTRY HAS A PROBLEM.

IT IS A GOOD PROBLEM, WE NEED TO ENLARGE OUR BORDERS...

B. SOMETIMES WE MUST GROW BY FAITH...

Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare

not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

C. 2 Kings 6:2 Each man had to GO and TAKE A BEAM... BUT ONE OF THE STUDENTS HAS A

PROBLEM...

2 Kings 6:5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas,

master! for it was borrowed.

D. THE LOST CUTTING EDGE IS A PROBLEM FOR ALL IN THE MINISTRY, WE TEND TO LOOSE

ARE SHARPNESS, OUR CUTTING EDGE WITH TIME.

E. Not only is there a problem with LOOSING THE CUTTING EDGE, there is a real problem with

PERSONAL INTEGRITY... moral uprightness, honesty, wholeness of character.

F. SO WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM, THE BORROWED AXE HEAD?

GOD HAS THE ANTITODE, HERE IS THE REMEDY... TRUST ME...

2 Kings 6:6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick,

and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

G. WHILE THE AXE HEAD SWAM, THE THE SHARP EDGE DID NOT JUMP ON THE AXE HANDLE.

2 Kings 6:7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

H. GOD DOES WHAT THE STUDENT CAN NOT DO...

THE STUDENT HAS TO DO WHAT HE CAN...

VII. WHILE WE SEARCH FOR THE ANTIDOTE OR REMEDY WE MAY DEVELOP A LOVE OF APPLAUSE,

THEATRICAL SPOT LIGHTS AND THUS MAKE THIS RELIGION A CIRCUS OR CARNIVAL...
