The Right Time

Summary: God’s timing is perfect. Jesus was born, crucified, and is coming again in God’s perfect time.
The Right Time
Reading: Ecclesiastes 1:1-11
Intro: God has a time for everything.
Ecc. 1:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his
time:
God is always right on time. He is never late, and never early…God does not operate on Indian time…
I. The birth of Jesus Christ was right on time. Gal. 4:4
A. When the fullness of time had come.
B.Jesus was right on time.
1. It was the right time Politically.
-Under Roman rule
-After Greeks had build roads for easy transportation.
-The people were looking for the Messiah to come.
2.It was the right time spiritually.
-Israel had not heard from God for over 400 years.
-They had immersed themselves in empty religion.
-The people were hungry to hear from God.
3.It was the right time Scripturally
-God had promised that Messiah would come.
-When the fullness of time was come, GOD sent forth
His son.
C. It was all God’s timing…and Jesus was right on time.
-Born of a woman
-It was time for the sign. Matt. 1:18-24
II. The Crucifixion was right on time.
A. Several time in Jesus life, people tried to kill him, but his time was not yet come. John 7:1-8, 30, 8:20
B.Jesus knew that one day he would be taken to Calvary.
--Matt. 26:1-5, 18, 45
C. His crucifixion was right on time.
D. His resurrection was right on time.
-The third day
-Matt. 20:17-19
-The Pharisees even believed it. Matt. 27:62-66
-Jesus was right on time.
III. The Second coming will be right on time.
A. We do no know the hour…
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
B.Preacher and Bible teachers spend hours trying to figure it out.
-I was convinced in 1972 that we would not see Easter of 1973. (by the preaching of Jack VanImpe)
C.He will come when we least expect it.
Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son
of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
D. We may know not the time, but when ever it is…it is, God will be right on time.
