The Power To Undo
Contributed by Jeremy Poling on Nov 28, 2017 (message contributor)
Summary: God can change things in lives.
-ministries, respect, honor
Somebody has to undo what the enemy has done and not undo what God has done.
Absalom messed up and was kept away from the king for a long time
David had right to kill Absalom for his betrayal yet embraced him
But Absalom went out and turned the hearts of the people from david to himself he said things like if I was the king I would blah blah blah

And slowly he built an army and tried to unravel gods people until there was a civil war and david has to flee
Absalom died a horrible death hung in a tree by his hair and 3 darts thrust through his heart
When we are forgiven we should never go back to our ways.
I am glad we are a part of a great church that is anointed by God.
Causeless people are a very sad people indeed. They will tear down causes that are important.
1Co_14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
Eph_4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Jeroboam spent 22 years as a king and unraveled a thousand years of God’s works.
Josiah died at 39 years and unraveled all the mess that had been done for the glory of god.
The ugly chapters of our life do not have to the defining chapters
2 Kings 23:25 pays to King Josiah. He said, “Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the Lord as he did- with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.”
Remember that phrase “In accordance with all the law of Moses” because that will be important later on.

So Josiah was 8 years Old when He became King, and according to verse 2 of our text he “did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.”
Now you would think from that verse that Josiah must have had very
godly parents who taught him to love and fear the Lord from a very early
age, and perhaps his mother was. But we know for a fact that His Father Amon was one of the most evil Kings that Judah ever had.
Which brings me to the question, of why an 8 year old boy is made King in the first place. According to 2 Chronicles 33, Josiah’s father Amon became King when He was 22 years old. But only 2 years later some of Amon’s own men conspired to overthrow the King and take control of the government. They assassinated the King but before they could seize power, they were captured and brought to Justice. That’s when Josiah was made King.
Psa 130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
Psa 130:8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
