1 The Power To Undo 1/29/2012
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Adam undid a beautiful peaceful and holy place
It is astounding to see the power of what one person can do and undo.
1. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
1. The “new creation.”
2. The phrase literally means “to make like the original state.”
3. In Christ we all are made just like we were before the days we sinned.
Rehoboam and Jeroboam both served 20 years undisciplined came to the throne and undone 1000 years of good. 12 tribes divided into 10 in the northern kingdom / israel and 2 in the southern judah
Jeroboam set up 2 places of idol worship in Dan and bethel so that Gods people would not go back to real worship in Jerusalem
They changed feast days, brought new priests in, rewrite the law, establish new places of worship and brought in idols.
It is amazing what one person can do with the wrong purpose and focus in life. Every person in this church has power to undo great things in your life and others.
We are not here to undo doctrine, truth, leadership, saints, character or anything we are to build up.
Josiah was 8 years up when he became king and he walked in the ways of david his father and in the ways of theLord,
Josiah hundreds of years before hand asked about david and how he had served the Lord. He said I have got to know.

He sought the Lord and pursued the Lord when he was 20 I want to renew the temple and openthe doors again restore the ark fix the floors.
He saw evil and undid it
2Ch_34:33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the LORD their God. And all his days they departed not from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.
At 26 yrs. Old he undid every idol and ground them to powder he burned thebones of thefalse prophets.
He then crossed into Judah and did the same he said they must know the one true God.
You posses the power to undo what God has done or undo what the devil has done.
Rom_14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
At 26 years old he raised money and said we are going to renovate and build up Gods house.
As they went to renovating, they found in the walls the law of god.
Hilkiah found the law and brought it to shaphan the scribe who read it to king Josiah who said go the prophetess Huldah and enquire of the Lord.
The prophetess said God is going to judge Israel for what they have done
2Ki 22:16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
2Ki 22:17 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their

hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.
2Ki 22:18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the
LORD, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;
2Ki 22:19 Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
2Ki 22:20 Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
He brought Passover back, testimony and thanksgiving singers sacrifices.
Everybody has power to undo what god has or the enemy has done
It is time to undo what the powers of hell has done.
There is an unraveling of the fiber that holds marriages and families together.
-churches and truth prayer bible study morality etc.
-ministries, respect, honor
Somebody has to undo what the enemy has done and not undo what God has done.
Absalom messed up and was kept away from the king for a long time
David had right to kill Absalom for his betrayal yet embraced him
But Absalom went out and turned the hearts of the people from david to himself he said things like if I was the king I would blah blah blah

And slowly he built an army and tried to unravel gods people until there was a civil war and david has to flee
Absalom died a horrible death hung in a tree by his hair and 3 darts thrust through his heart
When we are forgiven we should never go back to our ways.
I am glad we are a part of a great church that is anointed by God.
Causeless people are a very sad people indeed. They will tear down causes that are important.
1Co_14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
Eph_4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Jeroboam spent 22 years as a king and unraveled a thousand years of God’s works.
Josiah died at 39 years and unraveled all the mess that had been done for the glory of god.
The ugly chapters of our life do not have to the defining chapters
2 Kings 23:25 pays to King Josiah. He said, “Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the Lord as he did- with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.”
Remember that phrase “In accordance with all the law of Moses” because that will be important later on.

So Josiah was 8 years Old when He became King, and according to verse 2 of our text he “did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.”
Now you would think from that verse that Josiah must have had very
godly parents who taught him to love and fear the Lord from a very early
age, and perhaps his mother was. But we know for a fact that His Father Amon was one of the most evil Kings that Judah ever had.
Which brings me to the question, of why an 8 year old boy is made King in the first place. According to 2 Chronicles 33, Josiah’s father Amon became King when He was 22 years old. But only 2 years later some of Amon’s own men conspired to overthrow the King and take control of the government. They assassinated the King but before they could seize power, they were captured and brought to Justice. That’s when Josiah was made King.
Psa 130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
Psa 130:8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
