THE MASTER NEEDS YOU: YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE…
THE DARKER THE NIGHT, THE GREATER THE LIGHT…
By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com (YouTube: Wade Hughes)
A STAR IS A BRIGHT BEACON THAT REPRESENTS HOPE...RENEWAL, GUIDANCE, JOY AND POSITIVITY.
Zechariah 9:12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
CAN I MAKE A DIFFERENCE? I HAVE DECIDED TO VOLUNTEER TO HELP MY MASTER’S NEEDS… THE CHOICE IS MINE?
Matthew 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find a donkey tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
I DREAM OF CHANGE… THERE IS A GREAT CHALLENGE BEFORE US… I BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS A DIFFICULT JOURNEY WITH MANY GREAT IMPOSSIBLE OBSTACLES AND TRIALS… BUT I DREAM OF CHANGE.
Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. 15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
GOD DOES NOT DRAFT OR MAKE PEOPLE TO SERVE. GOD MAKES NO ONE GIVE OR BELIEVE, THE CHOICES ARE YOURS. CAN WE UNDERSTAND THE NEED… I WILL GO… I WILL DO…
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
I dream that God will help me TEACH the UNTEACHABLE. Reaching the unreachable. LOVE THE UNLOVABLE. I believe if we faithfully keep plowing the fields and sowing the seeds that GOD WILL HONOR US WITH A HARVEST…
THE STARFISH PRINCIPLE: THE STARFISH HAS THE POWER OF COMPLETE REGENERATION… CUT IT IN HALF AND BOTH SIDES CAN LIVE…
There is a story that needs to be told. The story tells of an old man walking along the beach. The light was dim and the vision was limited. It appeared that this old man would walk a few feet, bend down, pick up something and throw it back in the ocean. He would walk a few feet, bend down and pick up something and throw it into the ocean. There was a young boy watching as the sun was coming up. After a while the young boy could see clearly. The old man was slowly walking down the beach. The young boy could see hundreds of starfish coming on shore and they would die as the tide retreated and the sun would dry them out.
The young boy mocked the old man and said that is so stupid. You are wasting your energy on those crazy starfish. The boy said how many miles of beaches are along this ocean? How many starfish will die today as the tide goes out and the sun will kill the starfish? The old man just kept walking, bending down and throwing a stranded starfish back into the water. The old man said I have come here year after year to throw the starfish back into the ocean. The old man said if I don’t throw this starfish back it will die. The old man continued walking, bending down and picking up a starfish and throwing it back into the water.
The old man said I am nearing the end of my days. I enjoying saving starfish one by one. The young boy replied, You can never make a difference saving that starfish. THE OLD MAN BOWED HIS HEAD AND SAID: I CAN’T DO MUCH. MAYBE I WON’T MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE, BUT I MADE A DIFFERENCE TO THIS ONE. I MADE A DIFFERENCE TO THAT ONE, AND I WILL PICK UP ANOTHER AND THROW IT BACK IN THE WATER. THE OLD MAN EXPLAINED TO THE YOUNG BOY, FOR OVER 50 YEARS I HAVE COME TO THIS BEACH AND THROWN ONE STARFISH BACK, THEN ANOTHER… THE OLD MAN SAID I HAVE MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THIS ONE AS HE THREW IT BACK. GOD HONORS MY EFFORTS. I HAVE NO BIG SOLUTION, BUT I LOVE STARFISH.
The old man had a deep conversation with the young boy. The old man said there is coming a day when I can no longer do this? The old man said in over 50 years I have saved many, ONE BY ONE. With tears in the old man’s eyes
he bent over picked up a starfish and threw it back to safety. The old man said: TODAY MY CONCERN IS WHO WILL CARRY MY LOVE ACTS ON WHEN I AM DEAD? The young boy pondered the love in the old man’s heart. THE YOUNG MAN STARTED WALKING DOWN THE BEACH, HE PICKED UP A STARFISH AND THREW IT BACK INTO THE WATER. HE TOLD THE OLD MAN, I AM LIKE YOU, I MAY NEVER MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE, BUT I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THIS ONE. The young boy walked along the beach with the old man, they would bend down, pick up a starfish and return it to safety together, ONE BY ONE. One dim morning the young boy heard a siren and saw the ambulance speed away. The old man never returned to the beach again. The story says: In the dim awakening of the day, there is a man walking along the beach. He walks a few steps and bends down. If you watch closely that young man is throwing something in the water.
