SO WHAT DO YOU THINK, MY FRIEND? KNOW YOUR ENEMY… KNOW HIS TACTICS… BE PREPARED…

John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

*STEAL: to take what is not yours wrongfully.

*KILL: to cause death, to put an end,

*DESTROY: to damage, ruin, defeat, danger.

WHO IS YOUR ENEMY? A GOOD ENEMY WANTS TO CONFUSE YOUR MIND SO THAT YOU DO NOT REALLY IDENTIFY WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS.

The enemies’ goal is for you to not recognize what he is doing. GORILLA WARFARE, RUN ATTACK AND RUN AND HIDE. There is only one effective tool to counter the enemy… that is THE WORD OF GOD. If the enemy can keep you anemic in the word, he can keep you anemic in life.

The bottom line is there will be attacks on your mind, your health, your family, your church and our society.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

We have 3 enemies: the world, flesh and the devil. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit reign supreme over any evil source.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Billy Graham said never underestimate the power of God’s enemies --- but we must know all the powers of the demonic foes are like a B.B. gun facing an ARMY TANK.

There is a book the author wrote and said: SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL. This is not really true. After CALVARY Satan has a terminal disease and his days are numbered. The enemy we face is really a defeated foe. JESUS IS ALIVE AND WELL FOREVER MORE.

AT BEST LIFE IS A BATTLE… A TERRIBLE CONFLICT … A SPIRITUAL WAR.

We are in a spiritual warfare against the enemies of God. Come with me to a powerful conclusion the BIBLE IS A BOOK ABOUT GOD… The Bible is not about the ENEMY. Yet there is no denying that the devil and his imps are real.

*SUBTLE: To live on our own abilities and not depend on the plan and purpose of God. Hard to analyze, can’t figure it out, clever, deceptive.

*ENEMY: desire to bring you down, to hurt, to work in opposition, hostile, one seeking to overthrow, injure, to bring harm, adversary, foe, at war and strife, to dislike, filled with hate,

*NEMESIS: to intimidate, revenge,

THE ENEMIES’ #1 GOAL IS TO KEEP YOU FROM ACCEPTING THE VIRGIN BIRTH AND THE EMPTY GRAVE AND RESURRECTION.

The #2 Goal is to get those that have accepted Jesus, to doubt God and QUIT.

LET US LOOK AT THE TOOLS OF THE ENEMY.

*ISOLATE, THE FEELING OF ISOLATION:

*FEAR: unbelieF, afraid, pain, danger.

*HATRED: John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

*WORRY: anxious, panic attack, troubled, problems.

*DEPRESSION: sadness, loss interest,

*OPPOSITION: to be against.

*CONTRARINESS: To be disagreeable. ALLOW INPUT ON THE TOOLS OF THE ENEMY.

*MOOD ALTERING: drugs, alcohol, sinful sex.

*FEELINGS, EMOTIONS, MOODS:

*VOLCANIC ATTITUDES: pressure builds and you blow up.

*STRIFE, FUSSING, DEBATING, ARGUING.

*TO SUBTRACT, TO DIVIDE.

*FRUSTRATION:

*THE TRAP OF NEGATIVITY, WORDS, ATTITUDES.

*QUITTING:

*ADVERSITY:

*ANGER, BITTERNESS.:

Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES TO OVERCOME…

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Exodus 23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
