JENNY THE ASCOT CAT WAS THE “TITANIC CAT” THAT FORESAW THE UNSINKABLE TITANIC.

The Titanic was leaving England for New York. Jenny was on the Titanic to help fight rodents. Jenny rode on the sea trials. After several trial runs the Titanic docked back in SouthHamptaon, England. The cat, Jenny carried her 5 kittens off the ship. There was an old man named JIM MULHOLLAND IN CHARGE OF THE GALLERY. Jim watched Jenny the cat carry the kittens off the ship. JIM felt JENNY THE CAT was warning him. JIM SAID: “THE CAT KNOWS SOMETHING THAT NO ONE ELSE KNOWS.” Jim years later told howJenny the cat saved his life by warning him. It is known that JENNY retrieved her kittens for the Titanic sailed out of port;

• LISTENING is mentioned 19 times. Listen, hear, listening === 353 +382 + 19 = 754 x’s hear, listen, listening. GOD’S WORD SEEMS TO PUT A GREATER PRIORITY ON TO HEAR AND LISTEN IS MENTION 33xs than KISS and HUG.

• WHY CAN’T WE TRAIN OUR EARS TO LISTEN. SEEMS WE CAN TRAIN ANIMALS, DOGS, CATS, AND ELEPHANTS. SEEMS WE CAN TRAIN OUR BOWELS AND KIDNEYS… BUT WE CAN’T TRAIN OUR TONGUES AND OUR EARS TO HEAR…?

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CHAOS IN OUR HOMES? CHAOS VS. LISTEN

*CHAOS: complete disorder, confusion, no reason, no order. Chaos becomes the NORM WHEN PEOPLE REFUSE TO LISTEN TO GOD OR LISTEN TO OTHERS.

*LISTEN: to give ear, to pay attention to sound, purpose of hearing, heed, obey, to consider, tune in,

*REPETITION: repeats

Proverbs 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Proverbs 20:12 (MSG) Ears that hear and eyes that see— we get our basic equipment from GOD!

Is there a difference between listening and hearing? HEARING is with the ears. Listening is with the ears and with the heart. We find complete chaos where there are frozen communication lines. SEEMS MANY TALK FEW LISTEN… chaos comes from darkness… real listening brings light. WHERE JESUS IS THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF LIGHT. COMMUNICATION, LISTENING BRIGHT LIGHT. CHAOS comes with darkness of listening, communication skills. HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY LISTENING SKILLS?

LET US COME TO THIS ANCIENT PRAYER --- WHERE WE LISTEN WITH OUR EARS… MOSES STARTS THIS PRAYER WITH SHEMA. SHEMA IS LISTENING WITH ORE THAN YOUR EARS. SHEMA IS ACTION, LISTENING WITH YOUR EARS AND HEART.

Hear the ancient prayer, it starts with: HEAR O ISRAEL THE LORD IS OUR GOD.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

MOSES DEMANDS THAT GOD’S PEOPLE LISTEN OR PAY ATTENTION BY USING THE WORD “SHEMA.” MOSES’ WORD SHEMA MEANS MORE THAN HEARING. SHEMA IS TO HEAR AND THEN OBEY WHAT WAS SAID.

Shema is more than listen with your ears… Sure “shema” means listen but it is much deeper than hear. SHEMA MEANS HEAR ME AND DO WHAT I SAY… OBEY. Shema means more than the 3 bones in the inter-ear shaking… THE HAMMER, ANVIL AND STIR-UP the 3 smallest bones of the body… A SNAIL SHAPE FLUID FILLED WITH NERVE ENDINGS THAT SEND MESSAGES TO THE BRAIN.
