( I have palm leaves for each person. Palm leaves represent PRAISE. I have horse reins I will use.)
THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN WIN… KING JEHOSHAPHAT KNEW THE ENEMY WAS MUCH STRONGER THAN HE WAS…
THE ONLY CHANCE WE HAVE IS TO PRAISE GOD FROM OUR HEART. PUT THE PRAISERS IN FRONT TO SING AND WORSHIP GOD. VICTORY COMES WHEN GOD’S PEOPLE LEARN THE BEAUTY OF PRAISE.
2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against
I WANT NO ROCKS CRYING OUT PRAISE FOR ME.
*RAIN: water falling in drops from the clouds.
*REINS: to hold back, to control more, HORSE.
*REIGN: what a king or queen does, a period of time when a sovereign holds office, the power to rule.
WE IN THIS AREA HAVE MANY AMISH PEOPLE. We see in front of many businesses a HITCHING POST. A HITCHING POST IS WHERE YOU TETHER OR TIE THE REIGNS. TO KEEP IT FROM WANDERING AWAY. The hitching posts prevents the animal from straying away. A hitching post was like parking to us today. A person would pull up their wagon or their horse to a fence, a tree, a post and tether the animal to keep the animal from wandering away.
AT 30 YEARS OF AGE PRIEST AND MINISTERS WERE SET APART FOR THE OFFICE WORK TO WHICH THEY WERE ASSIGNED… PRIEST STARTS FORMAL ENTRY INTO PRIESTHOOD… AT 30 YEAS OF AGE.
Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

John 2:5 MARY: His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
FOR 3 YEARS JESUS MINISTERS HEALING, DELIVERANCE, FORGIVENESS, and SALAVTION TO THE PEOPLE… JESUS TRIES TO PREPARE THE DISCIPLES FOR THE DAYS AHEAD.
Mark 9:30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it. 31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. 32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.
THE SEVENTH ENTRY INTO JERUSALEM IS CALLED THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY.
On the eastern side of the temple there is a little GARDEN called GETHSEMANE. Walk up the hill and you will ascend what we call the MOUNT OF OLIVES. The MT of OLIVES is just outside the city limits of Jerusalem. A PERSON HAS A BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE MOUNT OF OLIVES. You can look into the 15 acres inside the temple. From MT OLIVE
YOU CAN SEE THE EASTERN GATE OF THE TEMPLE and part of the south side of the temple.
Walk up Mt Olive and there is a little village just up the hill side outside the city limits of Jerusalem. The village is called BETHPHAHAGE.
THE DONKEY SAYS: I AM TETHERED AND MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS. CAN YOU HEAR THE PRAISE? THE PRAISE IS FOR THE SON OF GOD! LISTEN TO ME: YOU ARE GOING TO FIND A DONKEY AND ITS COLT TETHERED TO A HITCHING POST, UNTIE THEM ---TELL WHOEVER ASK: THE MASTER NEEDS THEM. THIS 7TH JOURNEY IS ALL ABOUT PRAISE.
Matthew 21:1 (MSG) When they neared Jerusalem, having arrived at Bethphage on Mount Olives, Jesus sent two disciples 2 with these instructions: "Go over to the village across from you. You'll find a donkey tethered there, her colt with her. Untie her and bring them to me. 3 If anyone asks what you're doing, say, 'The Master needs them!' He will send them with you." 4 This is the full story of what was sketched earlier by the prophet:
5 Tell Zion's daughter, "Look, your king's on his way, poised and ready, mounted On a donkey, on a colt, foal
of a pack animal." 6 The disciples went and did exactly what Jesus told them to do. 7 They led the donkey and colt out, laid some of their clothes on them, and Jesus mounted.
OFTEN TIMES WE SEE THE PHYSICAL BUT THERE IS A SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE: THE STAGE IS BEING SET THE PLAN OF GOD WILL BE COMING INTO VIEW.
Matthew 21:4 This took place to fulfill the prophecy that said, 5 “Tell the people of Israel, ‘Look, your King is coming to you. He is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt.’” the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
