We all want comfort. And God offers it to us as he did to the exiled Israelites. We can take comfort that our sin has been paid in full, that God's word outlasts our problems, and that God is coming again. Forgiven, forever, for sure!

God's coming does not depend on us. In fact, He has already come. And the only things we have to do to receive him are the same three things Isaiah told the people of Israel so long ago.
