what to do if called by God

GOD’S CALLING ON YOUR LIFE It was 2009, when I made the decision to study ministry. I cannot tell you why, it was just a strong urge to serve God more. • Calling

Contributed by Mary G. on Dec 10, 2020
    based on 3 ratings

We can have whichever vocation we want if it is not sinful and is working wholeheartedly for God while walking in love (if we haven't already heard clearly from God regarding a path we need to be on). We are free in Christ.

Some Christians want to be rigid regarding their calling/vocation. I learned differently at Christian Counseling School. God does not call us to rigidity. It is unhealthy. We are free in Christ (Holy Bible, New International Version, 1973/2011, Galatians 5:11 ). We can have whichever vocation we ...read more

Contributed by Chris Swanson on Jan 20, 2023
     | 1,072 views

Jesus has placed a call to people, but who and how many have actually answered? What has been our response, if any?

Have we picked up the Holy telephone or have we left the earthly answering machine on? Have we looked at the caller ID and just thought to ourselves that we will take the call later? Have we told the unholy secretary to hold all calls? Or have we responded, “Speak, for thy servant heareth” (1 ...read more

Introduction This is above all meant to be a time of encouragement – in my time as a Christian I have heard very few talks on How God sees our work. Contributed by David Henderson on Aug 28, 2018
     | 9,614 views

All of us are called to serve God full time. I also came to the understanding that serving him as my vocation, as my job, was indeed what he wanted from me. It is God’s desire that every believer will serve him full-time-nothing more-nothing less.

“Finding Your Identity” 1st Peter 2:5-10 I remember God speaking to me about entering the ministry when I was 11 years old. I was actively attending church and God had placed a call on my life. Sometimes it is hard to describe to someone who has not received that call but I have never doubted it. ...read more
