When we come to the Lord's Table to receive that which the Lord Jesus commanded Believers to do, we must come repenting. When one comes honestly and eagerly repenting of ALL their sin, they become THANKFUL for God's atonement, grace, and forgiveness.

Despite their sin, moral deficiency and division Paul is able to describe the church is Corinth as a group of people in fellowship together for which thankfulness can be offered. Such an outcome is possible because, in Christ, we are enriched and kept blameless as we live in fellowship with Jesus.
