It is God’s design that we follow leaders. But the false ones deceive and lead away from the narrow road to hell. The way to see past the sheep’s clothing to the actual fruit is by watching for the things that come from the heart and that are not a part of the act.

Many will call Jesus Lord and have impressive, Christ-centered ministries and yet be condemned because 1) they were not known by Christ (not favored by Him and did not trust and obey Him) and 2) they did not do the Father’s will (a function of knowing God) and are therefore lawbreakers.

What is the "rock" Jesus tells us to build our house on? The Word of God? Jesus? No. Both the rock builders and the sand builders are building on Jesus' words. It's not enough to build on his words. Jesus tells us the difference between rock and sand.
