In a prayer to “Revive us Lord”, the Psalmist shows three things that can help us through present difficulties. He presents a 1) Remembrance of Past Revival (Psalm 85:1–3), 2) Request for Present Revival (Psalm 85:4–7), 3. Revelation for Future Revival (Psalm 85:8–13).

We find a defined prescription for real revival in 2 Chronicles 7:14. The problem is that, like with many precribed orders from our physician, we hesitate to take the medicine.
