In the message this morning, I will try to answer one of life’s most important questions. What is life or what is this life all about? I am sure most of us at some time have asked ourselves questions such as, why was I born? Why am I here? What is the purpose of life? Is this all there is to life?

God has brought a charge against His people, and the charge is the same that He brings to us today. Their religion and their worship had become nothing but emptiness and meaningless rituals. All of it had become unrelated to their character and unrelated to their daily life.

They were deeply religious. They were very faithful in performing the acts of worship, but they were empty and meaningless. Most people who work, have a boss. I remember my first job, Rawlins WY. It was at the Willow Inn, washing dishes. Then at the age of 13, I got a job in the pantry. Lynn Brogan and son. In my few short years, I have always had a job and bosses. Some were good, some not so good.

To me, John 15, is one of the richest chapters in the Bible. It seems like you can study and study it and never get out all there is there to have. It shows what is my possession in Christ. What is my responsibility in Him? What is His responsibility to me?
