Before you choose a religion, you need to know about the person who is centred around (icon) in that religion. Ask yourself, what good qualities you can follow in that leader. Why did he come? How did he live? What did he teach? Where did he come? Where did he go?

Look for Ten good qualities in that leader. Look for ten good qualities of the followers. Look for ten good qualities of that religion or faith. Another thing to remember is fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) is more important than the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). Gifts of the Holy Spirit without the fruit of the Holy Spirit is a counterfeit.

Water Baptism

But the baptism in the Holy Spirit is not a substitute for Water Baptism. Neither is Water Baptism a substitute for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. They are two separate but complementary provisions of God for every person who comes to faith in Jesus Christ.

Adam could have repented and come back to God. God gave him a chance to repent. But instead of admitting the fault he blamed his wife (Genes 3:12). If Adam had admitted the fault of disobedience to God, God would have forgiven him.
