Abraham trusted God’s promises despite doubt, fear, and impossibility—and how, like Abraham, we are justified not by our works but by God’s faithfulness. It reminds us that salvation and blessing are gifts of grace, not achievements of human effort.
“What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter?
If Abraham was justified by works, he would have something to boast about—but not before God.
