Do You Desire Healing?

Jesus confronted a man who had been ill for thirty-eighty years, and asked him if he desired to be healed. Jesus revealed that some people are not healed because they don’t want to be healed, or they lack the faith to be healed.

In this account, Jesus’ disciples neither totally believed nor totally disbelieved His power to rescue them. We can’t ride the fence. We must keep our eyes fixed only on Jesus before we can expect to see Him work in our life.

Some time ago, a newspaper in Tacoma, Washington, carried the story of Tattoo, the basset hound. Tattoo didn't intend to go for an evening run, but when his owner shut his leash in the car door and took off with Tattoo still outside the vehicle, he had no choice.
