Advent. It is hard to do an orignial John the Baptist advent sermon isn’t it? I give it a go. Our life circumstances do not determine the validty of who Jesus is. Also, John 1:6-9, 15-16,19-23.

John the Baptist is a great model of Christian ministry - he's willing to direct people away from himself to Jesus. he wants the glory to go to Jesus not himself and points others to Jesus even at his own cost.
