Yea, though I walk through the valley of the ‘shadow of death’ indicates there is a massive, bright and overwhelming light of hope behind any ‘darkness’ that haunts you. Behind any/all darkness in your life is that ‘ray of hope’, which is higher, greater, and certainly brighter than any ‘doom’.

Fear is a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined. Often it is the feeling or condition of being afraid. Through all the trial and hardships that came to David, he persevered because he found strength in the Lord and walked in His ways. If we too can recall God’s faithfulness and pray fervently, there will be nothing we need fear, because the Lord will stand by us to deliver us from all our troubles.

In the 23rd Psalm we see David reflecting upon his life from the Green Pastures of his youth to the valley of the shadow of death(which was not far off). He notes one common theme namely that the Lord was his shepherd, today can we say the same thing?
