Today in our passage of Scripture we’re going see James sharing w/believers some lessons on praying for healing. While he was speaking to people who were living almost 2,000 years ago I believe this Scripture is still applicable for us today.

This story of the 10 lepers which Jesus healed is a perfect example to some of our problems today. That which we seek is not what we really need. In the process we put ourselves and others under pressure to make us whole when only Christ can do this.

Jesus confronted a man who had been ill for thirty-eighty years, and asked him if he desired to be healed. Jesus revealed that some people are not healed because they don’t want to be healed, or they lack the faith to be healed.
