"Process of Healing"

To understand the process of healing we have few questions to answer

01. who was the person seeking healing?

02. to whom did he go?

03. what did he do?

04. what were his external actions?

05. what does it mean 'if you wish'?

06. what did he ask for?

07. what happened to Jesus once the Leper put forward his desire?

08.what was the first action of healing?

09. what was the treatment of healing?

10. what was the answer of Jesus?

Significance of Disposition and practical implication.

01. It was the Leper seeking healing. -the leper knows that he needs healing. Do you know that you need healing? are you a leper? Leper not necessarily only physical but spiritual and mental. all of us are leper in our life in different ways. some of us are with our moral life, our social life, and our family life. we stink with the foul of the disease. our selfishness, pride, and arrogance have made us leper. because of this we people around us hate us, reject us which causes pain and stress to us. We need to be healed, cleaned from this dreadful sickness.

02. When we know that we need healing and cleaning, we need to go to Jesus. Not to anyone but only to Jesus. For Jesus the Only Doctor of Leprosy of our heart, mind, and soul.

03. He begged Jesus; the second important thing of the process of healing is we need to beg Jesus for his mercy, kindness, and healing touch. Begging here means we need to pray to him, ask him, plead him. Begging is the act of humility. Absolute no prejudice or pride but trust and confidence.

04. he knelt down. A total surrender to be treated by Jesus. Kneeling symbolizes, acceptance of Jesus's Lordship. It is the proclamation of Jesus's divinity and mightiness.

05.'if you wish' denotes 'not my wish'. You (Jesus) are important in this healing process. I give my total consent and authorization signature that I am ready to be operated by your mercy and not by my merit.

06. He asked for healing/cleaning. We need to ask for healing and cleaning for our whole being, from our

sickness, physical, mental, spiritual; the holistic healing.

07. Jesus was moved with pity. When we ask, beg, kneeling in front of him with humility and an earnest desire for healing, Jesus will be moved with pity. He feels for us. 'Pity' means 'the feeling of compassion caused by the suffering and misfortunes that one undergoes. So Jesus feels compassion which is from his heart. A genuine feeling of our pain makes him be compassionate towards us.

08. The first action of healing was Jesus stretched his hand towards the Leper. Stretching his hands means, he comes to us. he is ready to reach to us. He is not only heard but wants to help by giving his hand to us in our suffering. he wants us to assist in our suffering, and in our daily struggles.

09. Touching was the treatment. He touches us in our ugliness, in our stinky situations, in our weakness, and in difficult situations. His touch is a healing touch, a loving touch, a joyful touch. A spark of life-giving. do you want to be touched by Jesus? Do you want to be electrified by him? Go to him, beg him, kneel in front of him and talk to him.

10. I do will, be healed... be clean... Jesus moved with pity, extended his healing hand, and touched the leper and healed him. The will of Jesus is to heal us, clean us, make us a new man and woman.

Dear friends, do you want to be healed?

Do you want to be happy again?

do you want Jesus to work miracles in your life?

do you want him to touch you, hug you, and love you?

Then go to him without delay.

acknowledge that you are sick, you need healing, and pray to him with a sincere heart and total surrender.

He will be moved with your earnest desire of his touch and will extend his hand from heaven to the depth of our core of heart and heal us. Jesus the healer heal us.
