When it comes to dreaming, many readers think Matthew is the dreamer by the way he uses Old Testament Scripture to back up his story. Is Matthew too anxious to justify his story that he twists Scripture to suit his purpose?

Perhaps you heard this phrase growing up (and have repeated it to your own kids): 'do as I say, not as I do'. I can swear but if I hear you do it you're in trouble. Contrast that with what we see in the bible and we realize the right thing to be able to say is, 'do as I do'.
