Once the fish had vomited Jonah out, God’s call came to the prophet to arise and go to Nineveh and preach to the people. God’s call to the church is to take the good news of the gospel to those outside. May we too arise and go to fulfill the great commission of Jesus.
We read in Jonah 3:1-2, Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it the message that I tell you.”(ESV)
