Open heavens signify divine access, favour, and intervention. When the heavens are opened, the supernatural becomes evident in the natural, and God’s blessings, presence, and voice are revealed. It is a season of transformation, where limitations are removed, and breakthroughs are experienced.

In the texts that is before us We have 2 spiritual encounters of Jacob's life. The 1st encounter was at a place called Bethel. In Genesis chapter 28, Jacob met God at Bethel. It was At Bethel, Jacob saw a ladder. But at Peniel he saw the Lord.

On the ladder there are the messengers of God who were traveling up and down, between heaven and earth. They were delivering the people petitions to God in heaven, and they were bringing God’s answers back down to help the people of the earth.
