Timothy and David struggled with fear. Irrational and overpowering fears are often spiritual in nature. Paul prescribed 3 things that would alleviate Timothy's fear: the power of the Spirit, the love of God, and a sound mind.

Why We Fear Everything Else?

Fear of God is missing in our lives because of which we fear everything. When we fear God, we can live in peace in the midst of all the terrifying events that surround us. We fear something because it is powerful or has the power to harm or kill us.
