the story of Christmas is that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory. The Word is the outward expression of God. The Baby in the manger was God made flesh.
The Christmas story is about Jesus. Now, I doubt that there is anyone here who really needed to be told that, but we all have to admit that it’s pretty difficult to keep the focus there.
Actually, I think there is a fine line between what’s pleasing and not pleasing in the way we celebrate.
