In parts of China, to ask a person how they are doing you ask them "Have you eaten?" Jesus gave the people bread to eat but He wanted to give them even more. He wanted to give them The Bread of Life that would satisfy their every need.

Many people do understand that certain things shouldn’t be happening to them but they end up asking their WHY questions from false prophets, witch doctors. etc. you will never get a true answer from such people. You need to ask God directly.

The question which the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas 2,000 years ago is still relevant today and we have to encourage people to ask it, and no matter how 'diverse' or 'multi-cultural' our society is, there is only one correct answer to it.
