God’s word has power to change and transform our lives and all of our situations. The question is, “Do we treasure God’s Word?” May we ask God to open our eyes so we can see the wondrous truths hidden in it and will choose to walk in total obedience to God and His Word.

Be Bold And Courageous

As we go through the challenges of life our strength and courage to face them comes from God. On our part we are called to be strong and courageous to carry out the responsibilities God has entrusted to us, to live in obedience to God’s word knowing that God will never leave us or forsake us.

God calls us to be sanctified vessels fit to be used for His greater purposes. One area that we need sanctification is our speech. In a world that thrives on lies and deception, the Lord Jesus challenges us to live a life of integrity and to practice speaking the truth at all times.

God counsels us through His Word, His people and through the promptings of the Holy Spirit. There are important lessons we can learn from Lot’s wife, Cain and Jehoshaphat on the consequences of disobedience to God’s counsel. Implicit obedience to the Lord is the secret to a life of peace.
