Navigating Your New Season
Contributed by Clement Manenga on Mar 16, 2026 (message contributor)
Summary: To maximize the next phase of your life, you don't just need more money or mere luck; you need the right alignment of divine relationships.
Main Scripture: 1 Chronicles 12:32; "Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do..."
Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly...”
We often pray for "new seasons," new year's, new beginnings, but we frequently forget that God rarely delivers a new season in a vacuum. God delivers new seasons through people. To maximize the next phase of your life, you don't just need more money or more luck; you need the right alignment of relationships. There are four specific categories of men and women that God sends as "midwives" to your destiny. If you lack even one, your progress may be hindered.
We live in a culture that worships the "self-made" individuals, people who pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps. We are told that if we just work harder, grind longer, and wake up earlier, we will eventually break through the ceiling of our current limitations. The Myth of the "Self-Made" Man.
But I came to tell someone today that sweat is not a substitute for strategy, and ambition is not a substitute for alignment. You can have all the desire in the world, but if you are standing in a new season with an old circle, you will eventually suffocate the very promise God has placed within you.
To maximize the next phase of your life this "New Season" that is unfolding before you, you must realize a fundamental spiritual truth: You don’t just need more money, and you certainly don't need "luck." Money can buy you a house, but it cannot buy you the wisdom to govern your household.
The greatest asset in your new season is not sitting in a bank account; it is sitting in the relationships God has ordained for your journey. Your next level is hidden in a person you haven't met yet, or perhaps in a person you’ve already met but failed to recognize them or appreciate them. Luck is a worldly gamble, but Favor is a kingdom currency.
The Bible is a story of partnerships - the Divine Midwives. God rarely drops a miracle from the sky without moving the heart of a human being on the earth. He sends specific categories of men and women to act as "Midwives to your Destiny." Think about the role of a midwife: They don't give birth for you, but they ensure that what you are carrying doesn't die in the birth canal. They ensure that the transition from the "womb of preparation" to the "world of manifestation" is successful.
The Cost of Isolation
If you lack even one of these strategic relationships, your progress will not just be slowed—it will be hindered.
- without the Sign, you’ll have speed but no direction.
- Without the Ladder, you’ll have the talent but no platform.
- Without the Burden Bearer, you’ll have the vision but no stamina.
- Without the Watcher, you’ll have the gift but no protection.
Today, we are going to audit our lives. We are going to look past the faces and into the spirits of the people around us. Open your heart as we uncover the four pillars of destiny help that God is releasing into your life today.
1. The Keepers of Knowledge:
The first group are those who act as Signs. Like the sons of Issachar, their primary gift to you is not money or manual labor, but perspective. Their role is to provide the blueprint for the season. They tell you what to do and how to do it, so you don't waste time. If you ignore the "Sign," you will enter the right season but use the wrong strategy. They are the map-readers of your destiny.
2. The Ladders:
These are Power of connections. They are like ladders. Ladders are people who may not possess the resources you need, but they possess the access to those who do.
Take for example the cupbearer in the prison with Joseph. The cupbearer didn’t have the power to release Joseph, but he had the ear of the Pharaoh. He had the right connection to the authority. The right authority who was Pharaoh.
Never despise a man just because he doesn't "look" like the answer to your prayer. He might not be the destination, but he is the ladder that leads to the palace.
The Key to the season is honoring every relationship. You never know who is holding the key to your next door.
3. The Burden Bearers:
These are men and women who are partners in pain. They cry with you, they mourn with you, they pray with you, they stand by you.
A new season comes with new responsibilities and new pressures. You cannot carry the weight of a Great Destiny alone. These men and women are not just "intellectual" helpers; they are emotional and spiritual laborers. They get into the trenches with you.
